Gym Mini (Preschool-Aged) Programs - Moss Beach

The Gym Mini Program is a wonderful educational experience for all children ages 1 to 5 whether or not gymnastics is in their future as a sport!  These programs develop not only skills in movement but help develop the ability to learn.

Gym Mini Gym Area - South San Francisco

The Gym Mini Program has been developed to promote basic motor skills as they apply to all physical activity.  In this program, we do not strive to train for the Olympics, but instead we emphasize physical and social development using our specialized motor development equipment as well as our adapted gymnastics equipment with our positive, high-energy staff!

School-Aged Gymnastics

Instructional gymnastics classes are offered for girls and boys 6 years old and up in four levels (Levels 1-4) which each have 3 sub levels (each with a color).  This program also prepares the student for the Xcel program as well as the USA Gymnastics Level 3-10 program.

Competitive Gymnastics

Gymtowne Gymnastics offers girls competitive gymnastics in USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Levels 3-10 as well as USA Gymnastics Xcel Bronze through Diamond.

Find your session on the Gym Roster then look up the session times on the Session Summary.  Times are subject to change slightly if the numbers change. We have some missing clubs so please check back for updates!
COVID Protocols: We are requiring masks during the awards presentations because the awards room is limited in size and social distancing is not possible.
We are recommending wearing masks at all times at the facility  but are not requiring them.  If you choose not to wear a mask please keep at least a 3 foot distance from those outside your circle.
We will not be having a snack bar at this event.

All levels must qualify at a USA Gymnastics Sanctioned meet and receive the following scores:

  • Xcel Silver – 34.00 All Around
  • Xcel Gold – 33.00 All Around
  • Xcel Platinum and Diamond – 32.00 All Around

Information
  • Silver, Gold, and Platinum Qualifiers to Regionals will be determined by placement, not by a minimum score this year.  The Qualifying score for Diamond to Regionals is a 32.00 AA at State. The top 4 Diamonds overall in AA from the NorCal South Xcel State Championship will be members of the NorCal State Team to Regionals.

      • Session 1 will have 30 Qualifiers out of 48
      • Session 2 will have 31 Qualifiers out of 51
      • Session 3 will have 16 Qualifiers out of 26

      • Session 4 will have 37 Qualifiers out of 65
      • Session 5 will have 37 Qualifiers out of 65
      • Session 6 will have 39 Qualifiers out of 69
    • Silver
      • Session 7 will have 28 Qualifiers out of 67
      • Session 8 will have 29 Qualifiers out of 68
      • Session 9 will have 29 Qualifiers out of 69
  • You must enter and pay (one check)  for Regionals at the State Championships

Meet Format:

Modified Non-Traditional (Modified Capitol Cup)

  • 2 Identical Vaults (one for each flight)
  • 2 Identical Bars (one for each flight)
  • 2 Identical Beams (one for each flight)
  • 1 Floor (alternating flights)
  • Once competition begins, equipment may not be added, removed, or moved to another event and it must be available for both flights
Admission Fees:
  • Children (5-17) $7.00
  • Adults (18-64) $10.00
  • Seniors (65+ $7.00
Results: Are posted to MeetScoresOnline.com, MyUSAGym.com,  and  on the NorCal Website
