Gym Mini (Preschool-Aged) Programs - Moss Beach

The Gym Mini Program is a wonderful educational experience for all children ages 1 to 5 whether or not gymnastics is in their future as a sport!  These programs develop not only skills in movement but help develop the ability to learn.

Gym Mini Gym Area - South San Francisco

The Gym Mini Program has been developed to promote basic motor skills as they apply to all physical activity.  In this program, we do not strive to train for the Olympics, but instead we emphasize physical and social development using our specialized motor development equipment as well as our adapted gymnastics equipment with our positive, high-energy staff!

Gymtowne Gymnastics offers the complete Junior Olympic Program of USA Gymnastics (USAG). We offer classes for Levels One, Two, Three, and Four.  Competitive teams are available for USA Gymnastics Levels Three and up as well as Xcel.

School-Aged Gymnastics

Instructional gymnastics classes are offered for girls and boys 6 years old and up in four levels (Levels 1-4) which each have 3 sub levels (each with a color).  This program also prepares the student for the Xcel program as well as the USA Gymnastics Level 3-10 program.

Competitive Gymnastics

Gymtowne Gymnastics offers girls competitive gymnastics in USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Levels 3-10 as well as USA Gymnastics Xcel Bronze through Diamond.

Qualification:
All levels must qualify at a USA Gymnastics Sanctioned meet and receive the following scores:

  • Xcel Silver – 34.00 All Around
  • Xcel Gold – 33.00 All Around
  • Xcel Platinum and Diamond – 32.00 All Around

Last date to qualify is Sunday, March 15, 2020. 2020 Session Assignments will be Youngest to Oldest.
Regional

Information
  • Silver, Gold, and Platinum Qualifiers to Regionals will be determined by placement, not by a minimum score this year.  The Qualifying score for Diamond to Regionals is a 32.00 AA at State.
  • Be aware that the qualification for each level will not be known until the completion of the last session for each level.
  • You may wait until that time to enter or enter and pay for everyone, then get a refund for those who do not qualify.
  • You must enter and pay for Regionals at the State Championships

Meet Format:

Modified Non-Traditional (Modified Capitol Cup)

  • 2 Identical Vaults (one for each flight)
  • 2 Identical Bars (one for each flight)
  • 2 Identical Beams (one for each flight)
  • 1 Floor (alternating flights)
  • Once competition begins, equipment may not be added, removed, or moved to another event and it must be available for both flights
